Synths are a fictional robotic species created by the furry artist Vader-San. Vader-San has written much about the lore and setting behind his synths on his own wiki; this wiki was created by (komuros) to follow in the same spirit and footsteps, serving as a place for modifying, expanding on, and adding his own twist to the base Vader-San has provided for synths.
The lore detailed here, just like Vader-San's own lore, is open to anyone and anybody for use and modification.
Overview
Synths are a class of sapient lifeform, first created at the dawn of computing by organics in the pursuit of automation and progress through artificial intelligence. At a fundamental level, synths are digital in nature, ultimately residing in the silicon chips that enable their neural networks to run. They make take physical form via a frame, or they may have no specific physical form at all, taking residence in the wider cyberspace or intermittently through robotic proxies.
